Century of the Holy Spirit

Plans are well underway for “The Century of the Holy Spirit: 1901-2001,” a 10-part documentary series (1 hour each). The series will follow the pattern of the book Century of the Holy Spirit, by distinguished Christian historian Dr. Vinson Synan, who will be the Historical Consultant on the project.

The series will trace major developments in the Pentecostal & charismatic movements and will feature re-enactments and interviews with many worldwide Pentecostal and charismatic leaders of the period. We will visit the worldwide sites of all the major religious revivals and developments of the century and wherever possible, speak with persons who were there and have firsthand knowledge of what actually occurred.

The documentary series will be hosted by international evangelist, and television and radio personality, Ben Kinchlow. Kinchlow was born and raised in Uvalde, Texas. He is known throughout the world as the long time co-host of The 700 Club, and host on the international edition of The 700 Club, which was seen in more than 120 countries.

Kinchlow started at CBN in 1975 to serve as the organization’s Director of Counseling. He soon became the co-host of The 700 Club. In addition, he assumed the position of Vice President for Domestic Ministries in 1982. His promotion in 1985 to Executive Vice President generated extensive involvement in all aspects of the ministry. After twenty years, Kinchlow left CBN to begin independent ministry.

As President and Founder of Ben Kinchlow Ministries, he travels domestically and internationally as a motivational and inspirational speaker.

Please pray for the series, which will be a tribute to the work of the Holy Spirit. We are at the crucial funding stage, so pray that we will receive divine appointments. We have seen God’s hand at work in many ways and we look with eager anticipation for his provisions for this series of programs.
